Preserving Woodland Township History
The Woodland Township Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of the of the Woodland Township, NJ region. Through educational programs, engaging exhibits, and community events, we hope connect residents and visitors to the unique heritage of Woodland Township.

Our Story
Originally founded by residents with a passion for history, the Woodland Township Historical Society brings together anyone with an interest to celebrate and protect our local heritage.
From the forests of the Pine Barrens to the heart of Chatsworth, we collect, preserve, and share stories that helped to shape our township.
Building on the efforts of former Society members, the Woodland Township Historical Society was re established in 2025 and we are excited about the opportunity to continue to continue to research and share our town’s unique history!
